Stripey Green Sox

Sometimes, the only way I know when I started a project is to look back to see if I blogged about it, and when. I generally don’t much care how long it takes me to make something — mostly because I don’t work on just one thing at a time. It’s not the same as if I worked on one project form beginning to end before starting another one.

But sometimes it’s nice to get some sort of idea how long it takes me to knit a pair of socks, especially if I’ve been working on it pretty regularly — nearly every day since I started.

So, I can tell you that it took me about 5 weeks to knit these socks.

On January 3, I uploaded this post, the day after I cast on the first of these socks.

There’s nothing fancy about them. Except for the ribbed cuff and the slipstitched heel, they’re straight stockinette.

Like the pair before, also made out of self-striping yarn, these match up. And I didn’t even try. It just worked out that way!
