Cuttin’ It Close

Last week, I picked up the stitches for the collar on the sweater I started knitting almost a year and a half ago.

Today, I bound off the edge.

All that’s left to do is sew the edges of the collar to the center front and weave in the ends.

I have just enough yarn left to sew down the collar. This is what is left of the last skein of yarn. It’s a strand about 54 inches long.

When the pattern instructions said this sweater required 875 yards of yarn, they weren’t kidding!
