“Made” Fabric

For awhile now, I’ve been saving bits and pieces of leftover fabric scraps, tossing them into large plastic zipper bags and incorporating them into some of my sewing and quilting projects.

Such as this six-pointed star and this heart quilt.

And kitties.

Recently, a blog I read regularly mentioned “made fabric.” This has pushed me in a direction that I was sort of already headed.

Earlier this week, I pieced together a bunch of dark blue scraps for the next hand pillow.

This is a lot of fun!
